GLORIA E. ELLISON

Gloria E. Ellison, 73, of Brazil, formerly of Plano, Ill., passed away following surgery June 28, 2006, at 6:07 a.m. in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born Aug. 8, 1932, in Medinah, Ill., the daughter of William Schmuggerow and Mary Fessler Schmuggerow.

Feb. 3, 1948, she married Jesse Ellison; he survives. They lived in Plano, Ill., until his retirement in 1987 when they moved to Brazil.

She was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse; their four sons, Rickie Ellison of Brazil; Kenneth Ellison and wife, Nicole, of Canada; David Ellison and wife, Barbara, of Illinois; and Steven Ellison and wife, Purnima, of India; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; four brothers Harlan Schmuggerow, Ralph Schmuggerow, and William Schmuggerow; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Raymond Schmuggerow; and three sisters, Isabel, Genevieve, and Virginia.
