Nancy J. Manley, 57, of Greencastle, Ind., passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at Clarian Health/Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.
She was born May 2, 1949, the daughter of Harry Hunter Kirton and Audra Pauline (Morgan) Kirton.
She was employed at Indiana Department of Natural Resources in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Women of the Moose #138 of Greencastle and American Legion Auxiliary, Post 281 of Cloverdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dorothy Louise Johnson; and a brother, Harry H. Kirton Jr.
She is survived by three sisters, Judy A. Reisinger and husband, Bob, of Brazil, Jeanette M. Summitt and husband, Michael, of Greencastle and Pamela S. Kendall and husband, Terry, of Greencastle; two brothers, Ralph R. Kirton, of Indiana and James E. Kirton and wife, Hanna, of Cloverdale; 25 nieces and nephews and 46 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, July 24, 2006, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Services will be held Monday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Cloverdale Cemetery.
