Wayne Leon Froderman, 71 of Brazil, died at 10:38 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2006, in the emergency room at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.

He was born Aug. 5, 1934, in Ashboro, Ind., as the son of Richard Wayne and Ethel Tucker Froderman.

He graduated from Brazil High School in 1952 and attended two years at Indiana State University. From 1952 to 1974 he was self-employed as a truck driver and from 1974 to 1993 he worked as a salesman for Mechanics Laundry. He married Mary Ann Tribble Aug. 14, 1965, in Brazil.

He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Brazil, Knights of Columbus -- 3rd and 4th Degree, Fraternal Order of Eagles, BPO Elks, Moose Lodge, and the John Birch Society. He liked to spend time with his family and evenings drinking coffee with his friends at local restaurants.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son Mark Froderman; infant daughter, Tanya Froderman; his first wife, Maura R. Chillson Froderman and brother-in-law Warren Ray Wells.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann; one daughter Mary Adrienne Davies and husband Dwight of Terre Haute; three sons, Richard Froderman and his wife Lori of Pasadena, Md., Douglas Wayne Froderman and wife Melissa of Brazil and John Joseph Froderman and wife Tonja of Greencastle; two sisters, Mary Alice Wells of Brazil and Doris Sackley and husband Paul of Rockford, Ill.; three granddaughters, Brooke Anne Davies, Allison and Danielle Froderman; six grandsons, Travis and Tyler Wayne Okulovich, Guy, Jorden, Robert Wayne Froderman, and Christopher Davies; great-grandsons Skylar and Braxton Wayne Okulovich and special friends, Otis, Lucy and Ellie Mae.

Visitation will be 4-- 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home. The Rosary service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Annunciation Catholic Church of Brazil. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Annunciation Church, 19 N. Alabama in Brazil. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
