Marjorie Louise Branson Hastings, 62, of Rockville passed away at 8:55 a.m. July 24, 2006, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute following an extended illness.

She was born Aug. 23, 1943, in Parke County, Ind., to Edgar L. and Iva Louise Rardin Branson. She was a former member of the Carbon Nazarene Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands Duke Warner and Garald D. Hastings.

Survivors iinclude a companion Charles Hull of Rockville; a son Garald "Eddie" Hastings of Carbon; stepdaughters, Elaine Hastings of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; Linda Hastings of Bloomingdale, Ind.; six brothers Tommy Branson of Greencastle; Edgar Branson and wife, Carolyn of Reelsville; Robert Branson of Sullivan, Ind.; Larry Branson of Brazil; Franklin Branson also of Brazil; Floyd Branson and wife, Pat, of Crawfordsville, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Marvena Branson; granddaughter, Sierra Hastings of Carbon; two grandsons, Dayton and Jacob Hastings of Brazil; three stepgrandsons, Michael and Kevin Hastings of Ft. Wayne and James Hastings of Clinton, Ind.; three nieces, Terri Neaderhiser of Harmony, Ind.; Tina Davis and husband, Robert, of Brazil; Beth Fuller of Danville, Ill.; nine nephews, Daniel, Greg and wife, Kari, Gary and wife, Nicole, Larry, Billie and Andy Branson and Lucas Myers of Indianapolis, Todd and wife, Amy, Troy Branson and wife, Allison of Illinois; eight great-nieces, nine great-nephews; several cousins and extended family.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 28, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Calcutta Cemetery with Bro. Rick Thomas officiating. Visitation will be Thursday at Lawson-MIller Chapel, 4-8 p.m.
