Ruth M. Scharf, 82, of Brazil passed away Sunday morning at Cloverleaf Health Care. She was born on April 15, 1922, in Vigo County to Homer W. Samson and Iva Grace (King) Samson.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Bruce Scharf; one granddaughter, Erica Alexis Scharf; and two very special friends, Ester and Bill Harben.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Herman Scharf.

No services have been scheduled. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Roselawn Funeral Home assisted in making the arrangements.
