Billy Ray Head, age 13, of Carbon passed away Monday Aug. 7, 2006. He was born Nov. 18, 1992, in Springfield, Ill. Bill was fun loving, enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing basketball, riding bicycles, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Hank Robert Head Sr.

Bill is a special grandson of Roger and Doris Cooksey. Survivors also include his grandparents Melvin Head Sr. and wife Ann; a brother Hank Robert Head Jr.; aunts Julia Jane Batchelor and Peggy Sue Drury; an uncle Melvin Head and wife Julie; great uncles Ross Allen and wife Dianna, and John and Marlene; great aunt Julie Burns and husband Wayne; cousins Ron Parksey, Chris Batchelor, Joe Drury, Rusty Drury; special friends Larry Capps and Judy Randall; as well as a special little dog "Thumper" and many friends and extended family members.
