Barbara J. Gearld, 72, of Carbon, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2006, in Union Hospital.

She was the daughter of Stephen Edgar Hilleary and Anna Llewellyn Pollack Hilleary.

Survivors include four sons, Wayne C. (Zeborah) Gearld, Rockville; Philip C. (Cynthia) Gearld, Leavenworth, Kan.; Gig D. (Lisa) Gearld, Carbon, Ind., and Tracy L Gearld, Crawfordsville, Ind.; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

At the request of the deceased, her body will be cremated. Arrangements were made by Gooch Funeral Home in Rockville.
