William Jerremiah Bales, 25, of Brazil, died Aug. 19, 2006, at his residence.

Born Jan. 14, 1981, he was the son of Tom McQuade and Sonya Bales McQuade. He attended Northview High School. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver for Swift Trucking. Nov. 3, 2004, he married Kristy Bennett. She preceded him in death May 23, 2006. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, being on his computer and most of all being with family.

He is survived by his mother and father; his grandparents, Wyman and Joan Edwards, and William Bales; one brother, Zachariah McQuade; three sisters, Ariel McQuade, Katrina McQuade and Sarah McQuade; one aunt and three uncles. Also included are three best friends, Gary Abernathy, Greg Wells and Austin Proffitt.

Cremation will take place with private family services to be held at a later date. He and his wife's ashes will be buried together in Virginia. Post a heart of condolence at www.frenchfuneralhome.com.
