CLARENCE E. SAMS

Clarence E. Sams, born April 12, 1924, entered into heaven Sept. 2, 2006.

He was the beloved husband of the late Gloria (Hallmark); dearest father of Sydney Greer and husband, Sam, James Sams and wife, Martha; grandfather of Monica, Allison, Nicole and Chris; great-grandfather of Ian.

Mr. Sams retired from Genuine Parts Co., then retired to Bradenton, Fla. He recently moved to Buffalo, N.Y., to be close to his family.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Terre Haute with the Rev. Joseph H. Chillington officiating.

Visitation will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
