Randy "Little Joe" Batchelor, 42 of Brazil, passed away October 7, 2006, at his home. He had been battling cancer since 2004.
He was born March 21, 1964, in Clay County, the son of David Batchelor and Emily Gleynn Batchelor.
He graduated from Brazil High School and worked at Great Dane until his health problems forced him to retire in 2004.
He enjoyed fishing with his brothers and being with family. He had just returned from a trip to Belgium to visit family there. He was a devoted uncle and great-uncle, brother and friend.
Survivors include; three brothers and sister-in-laws, Reynolds and Bertha Batchelor, Andy and Rose Batchelor and Rick and Susan Batchelor; two sisters and brother-in-laws, Sandy and Eddie Floyd and Ruth and Tim Floyd; one brother-in-law, Terry Wallen Sr.; 17 nieces and nephews and many, many great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law Margo and Daniel Kline, a sister, Linda Wallen, and a nephew, Tim Floyd.
His wishes were to have family gather together in his home and then cremation to follow. No formal services are planned; each family member is to remember him in his or her own way.
