She was born Oct. 23, 1916, in Bridgeton, Ind., to Ray and Lou Crafton Ames.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Brazil, the First Christian Church, volunteered at the Clay County Hospital and was a very loving caregiver to all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Wallace on Nov. 28, 1973, and is survived by several nieces and nephews and a large extended family. Services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, in the Lawson Miller Chapel with visitation from 11 a.m. until services.
Burial will be in the Summit Lawn Cemetery.
