Thomas Franklin Morlan, Jr., 60, of Harmony died at 4:36 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born Nov. 30, 1945, in Brazil, the son of the late Thomas Franklin and the late Betty Jane (McGinty) Morlan.
As a young man, he was employed by Arketex and General Housewares. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by two daughters, Pam Ellis and her husband, Kevin, and Anna Coada; five grandchildren, Holly and Shelby Ellis, Dustin Morlan, Nicole and Jeremy York; and one sister, Mary and her husband Jack Bemis, all of Brazil. He is also survived by one uncle, James Morlan, of Terre Haute; one nephew, one niece, several cousins and other extended family members.
Graveside funeral services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at Clear Run Cemetery, Bridgeton, with Rev. Richard Pippin officiating. Burial will follow.
