Jeanette Susan Hoover

Wednesday, November 1, 2006

Jeanette Susan Hoover went home to be with the lord in the presence of her loving family on October 30, 2006 after a 2 year courageous battle with cancer.

She was born October 12, 1955 in Barberton Ohio, lived in Manchester, moved to Michigan and then settled with her husband and son in Brazil, Indiana where she worked for the Clay County School System.

She was met at heaven's gates by her father Harold (Bud) Landals, her mother-in-law and father- in-law, Lee and Thelma Hoover, paternal grandparents Alfred and Corrine Landals and maternal grandparents Benjamin and Alberta Boone and special Aunt and Uncle Louise and Harold Boone.

In this world she leaves to celebrate her life, her loving husband of 32 years Mark S. Hoover and her three children, Mark Harold (Stephanie) Hoover of Burton, Michigan, Jennifer (Chad) Randall of Burton, Michigan and Daniel Hoover at home. Her four grandchildren, Alexander, Dylan, Bradley and Kendall. She also leaves to celebrate her life, her mother Lila Landals of Barberton, sister, Debbie (Tom) Gerbec of Manchester, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Michael (Laura) Hoover of Wadsworth; a sister-in-law, Joanie Hoover; and very loving nieces and nephews, Monica, Adam, Nathan, Madeline, and Hannah Gerbec. Melissa (Tim) Farnsworth, Maria (Jeremy) Slota, and Michael (Stefanie) Hoover. Also many special friends and relatives.

Jeanette was a very strong and loving person. She worked hard all her life, was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. She was extremely excited about the arrival of her grandchildren and they were the light of her life. Grandma Net spent as much time as possible with her grandchildren and was there when each one was born. Her special gift for decorating always turned a house into a "home". Her home with her special touches always had an open door for family and friends, a place to gather, talk and just be yourselves.

Thank you to all the relatives and friends who visited and comforted her during this time. A special thanks to Deb Girton for her bedside assistance and comfort, Debbie Zimmerman for her weekly dinners, and the women from the Terre Haute VistaCare.

We will miss you more than you will ever know. You were our rock, the glue that held us all together. We will not say good-bye, "Just until we meet again".

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at French Funeral Home. Services will be Friday, November 3, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Bacher Funeral Home in Norton, Ohio.
