Christmas parade starts at 6:30 p.m. today

The 2002 Christmas in the Park Parade, "His Love Reaching", will begin at 6:30 p.m. today, traveling from east to west, down National Avenue.

Sponsored by Lynn's Pharmacy, entries will line up, starting at 5 p.m.

Motorists are asked not to park on National Avenue from Vandalia to Depot streets.

Co-chairpersons are: Tim Weaver, Dave Evans, Albert Starr and Dennis Nevins.
