If you enjoy seeing double, the Lloyd Burns residence was the place to be Saturday. There you could see double - and double, double, double, double.
There were five sets of twins at the Burns house. Burns and his twin, Wayne were there. So was Diana (Burns) Cannon and her twin, Donna (Burns) Titzer, and Jeff Cannon and his twin, Jenny (Cannon) Andres. And then there were the newest set of twins in the family, Gabrielle and Grace Cannon, children of Jeff and Diana Cannon. Gabrielle and Grace were born Aug. 1.
Also present at the get-together was Jenny and Sarah Dierdorff, twins of Mark and Rita Dierdorff.
One other set of twins were unable to attend the family get-together.
Of course, with so many twins in the family, there are bound to be funny stories. One funny story involves Donna and Diana Burns when they were in kindergarten. Somehow, Donna's picture was in the school yearbook twice, while Diana's wasn't in at all.
Sarah Dierdorff went to the dentist and her gums were numbed based on Jenny's dental chart. Needless to say, Sarah wasn't happy.
Jenny Cannon Andres' arm hurt until Jeff had his broken arm set. She was in Tennessee at the time and her arm hurt for some time. She called back home to find that Jeff had broken his arm. Once his arm was set, Jenny's arm quit hurting.
In all, Gabby and Grace are the 15th set of twins in the combined parents families.
