The Beachkofsky's snow sculpture

Monday, December 30, 2002

The Beachkofsky clan thought the 12 foot snowman made by their neighbor, Jason Short, was lonely. So they made him a friend. "Dolly" Snowwoman is every bit the lady. Dressed in her terra-cotta pot hat she smilingly gazes across the street at her snow mate. The snow lady's sculptors were Joel Beachkofsky and his wife Angie, Sarah, Andrea and Tom Beachkofsky and Tom's girlfriend, Amanda Tate from Colorado.

Joel and Angie, right, were visiting with the snowwoman Sunday afternoon trying to keep her in good spirits. Dolly's croquet ball eyes were very misty. Not due to a love lost but because of the high temperatures.

"Dolly" can be seen in the front yard of Fred and Nancy Haggerty at 21238 W. State Road 340.
