INDIANAPOLIS -- A Seelyville man who died in a trailer fire was not the victim of foul play, the Indiana State Fire Marshal's office has concluded.
On Feb. 17, Indiana State Police detectives investigated a fire at the residence of Charles E. Morgan.
Morgan was found inside his burning residence by the Seelyville Fire Department and was transported by ambulance to Union Hospital, Terre Haute, and then to Wishard Hospital, Indianapolis.
He suffered from burns and self-inflicted puncture wounds to his right and left hands and arms, according to a state police press release dated Tuesday.
Morgan died at Wishard Hospital on Feb. 18.
An autopsy did not reveal any further evidence of foul play in his death.
