The Parke County REMC has announced that applications for its 2003 scholarship program are now being accepted. Graduating high school seniors who live in a residence that is served by Parke County REMC are eligible. Applicants must be planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course for study at an accredited, two-year or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school in the Fall of 2003. The last day to apply is April 25.
Six $500 scholarships will be awarded. The scholarship must be for educational costs, and the student must enter college in the school year for which the scholarship is given.
Awards will be based on the following criteria: scholastic achievement, school involvement, community involvement and recommendations.

Applications can also be obtained from area high school counselors or request by e-mail email@example.com. Completed applications must be mailed or delivered to Parke County REMC, 119 W. High St., Rockville IN 47872 no later than April 25.
The Parke County REMC - Long Distance Scholarship is funded through the revenue received from the Parke County REMC/TWN Long Distance Program.
