TERRE HAUTE -- A man wanted in Clay County for about a year was finally arrested Saturday morning at a Terre Haute residence.
Brad Edwards, 35, of Terre Haute, had three felony warrants outstanding from Clay County.
Saturday morning at 7:25 a.m., Edwards was arrested at a private residence on South 18th Street in Terre Haute.
State Police had received a tip of his whereabouts and approached the home but received no response. City police officers soon arrived and helped secure the perimeter.
After several more unsuccessful attempts to get someone to come to the door, the city police Special Response Team forced entry into the residence and took Edwards into custody.
He was transported to the Clay County Jail to await his initial court apprearance. He is charged with Failure to Appear in court, being a Habitual Traffic Violator and Resisting Law Enforcement.
