Forest Park Pool and Recreation Area is set to open Saturday, weather permitting. The water temperature at the pool will have to be in the 70s before opening.
The recreation area at the pool will be open and tennis rackets and basketballs will be available for use. They can be checked out on the north side of the bathhouse. The sand volleyball court has been redone and is ready for use. A ping pong table will be set up each day during the hours that the pool is open. Anyone with a pool pass can leave the pool and make use of these facilities and then be re-admitted with no charge. The facilities are available to anyone.
The pool hours will be noon to 5 p.m. daily.
