Pick-up to be on Thursday

Brazil City Employees will not be working July 4. Limbs, leaves, and grass will be picked up on July 3. Any remaining will be picked up on July 7.

License Branches and BMV offices closed on Independence Day

The Bureau of Motor Vehicles will close all license branches and administrative offices July 4 in observance of Independence Day. License branches and administrative offices will reopen July 7 for normal business hours. Motorists can use BMV Express automated services for renewing standard vehicle registrations via telephone, Internet or Self-Service Terminals when walk-in service is unavailable. BMV Express Touch-Tone Renewal is available by calling 1-877-4-NEW-BMV. Internet users can renew online at www.in.gov/bmv.

Times to be published early on 4th, special deadlines set

The Brazil Times will be published early in the morning on the 4th of July. There will be no Saturday paper due to the holiday.

The deadline for classified ads is noon Thursday. The editorial deadline for the July 4 edition will be 5 p.m. July 3.

The newspaper office will be closed at 5 p.m. July 3 and re-open at 8 a.m. July 7.

Church news items should be delivered to The Times office no later than July 2 and the church news page will be published on Friday, July 4.

Other businesses and organizations may be on special schedules this week due to the Indepehndence Day holiday. Check with them for more information.
