Fair princess hopefuls compete

The reigning princess, Miss Cameron Jo Gerber would like to invite everyone to attend the 2003 4-H Fair Princess Pageant to be held July 12 at 1 p.m. at the 4-H Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. Admission is free but donations will be accepted at the door.

Twenty-two ladies from Clay County will be vying for the title of Miss Clay County 4-H Fair Princess.

The contestants are:

Ahnya Aleis Alstott, 15, daughter of Rev. Tony and Rhonda Alstott of Brazil. Ahnya will be a freshman at Northview this fall and is being sponsored by Lucky Clovers 4-H Club.

Rachel Elizabeth Alstott, 12, a seventh grader at North Clay Middle School, is sponsored by Lucky Clovers 4-H Club. She is the daughter of Rev. Tony and Rhonda Alstott.

Ashley Renae Clarke, 13, will be in seventh grade at North Clay Middle School in the fall. She is being sponsored by Tri Kappa and is the daughter of Rod and Elaine Clark of Brazil.

Courtney Caye Dayhuff, 14, is the daughter of Jay and Cathy Dayhuff of Lewis, IN. Courtney will be a freshman at Clay City High School this fall and is being sponsored by Howesville Farm Service.

Deidre Alyse Dellmo, 15, will be a sophomore at Northview High School this fall. She is being sponsored by Lynn's Pharmacy and is the daughter of Gary and Jeanne Dellmo.

Bonnie Jane Froderman, 12, the daughter of Fred and Trish Froderman, will be a seventh grader at North Clay Middle School this fall. Bonnie is being sponsored by Clearlake Veterinary Hospital.

Sadie Froderman, 15, the daughter of Fred and Trish Froderman of Brazil is being sponsored by Clearlake Veterinary Hospital. Sadie will be a sophomore at Northview High School this fall.

Ashlynn Elizabeth Hauser, 14, is being sponsored by Cindy's Hair Salon. Ashlynn will be a freshman at Shakamak High School and is the daughter of Cindy and Blaine Keene of Jasonville.

Elizabeth Jane Haviland, 12, is the daughter of Dale and JoBeth Haviland. She will be in seventh grade at Clay City Junior High and is being sponsored by Clever Clovers 4-H Club.

Tawnee Lee Hayden, 15, is the daughter of Tim Hayden and Barbara Hayden. Tawnee will be a freshman at Clay City Jr. /Sr. High School in the fall and is being sponsored by Howesville Farm Service.

Mara Ann Mayle, 13, is the daughter of Mike and Lori Mayle. Mara is being sponsored by MSM Insurance Services. She will be in eighth grade at North Clay Middle School in the fall.

Ashley Nicole McDonald, 14, the daughter of Mary P. and Fritz McDonald II. Ashley will be a freshman at Northview in the fall and is being sponsored by Dr. Michael Dalton of Dalton Chiropractic Center.

Whitney Sue Moore,14, will be a freshman at Clay City High School in the fall. Whitney is the daughter of Gary and Donetta Moore and is being sponsored by Step-By-Step Dance and Gymnastics.

Chelse Nicole Payne, 15, is the daughter of Alan and Donna Payne. Chelse is being sponsored by Wood Produce. She will be a sophomore at Northview High School in the fall.

Lauren Marie Reberger, 12, daughter of John and Jamee Reberger, will be in sixth grade at North Clay Middle School in the fall. She is being sponsored by Almost Christmas Limited Edition Santas.

Dennise Daniele Smith, 13, is being sponsored by Stanifer's Twist-N-Shake. She is the daughter of Dennis and Debbie Smith and will be a freshman at Shakamak High School in the fall.

Paige Allison Smith, 15, the daughter of Brian and Julie Smith, is being sponsored by Century 21 Hometown Realty Inc.. Paige will be a sophomore at Northview High School this fall.

Cassandra Lynn Staley, 14, will be a sophomore at Clay City Jr./Sr. High School this fall. She is the daughter of Nick and Vallie Staley and Sherri Sloan. Cassie is being sponsored by Vallie Staley Century 21 Hometown Realty.

Larissa Anne Staley, 15, is the daughter of Randy and Nancy Staley. She will be a sophomore at Clay City High School and is being sponsored by Dyer-Hill Insurance Agency, Darenda Dyer, agent.

Allison Rae Stearley, 12, will be a seventh grader at North Clay Middle School this fall. Allison is the daughter of Rick and Jan Stearley and is being sponsored by R. Stearley Carpet Installation.

Erika Kelsey Tucker, 15, the daughter of Larry and Suzanne Tucker is being sponsored by Clay County 4-H Horse and Pony Club. She will be a sophomore at Northview High School this fall.
