Local residents suffering damages to their dwelling or business can fill out flood/damage questionaires found on page 2 in today's Times.
Explain damages due to high winds, floods or fallen trees or other damage sustained to structures as a result of recent storm disasters in the county.
The completed forms need to be returned to the City Hall Safety Office or The Office of Emergency Management at the Clay County Courthouse.
"This form is not an application for financial assistance; although the form will help show the needs that face our community due to the storm on Wednesday," Gerri Husband, of the Clay County Emergency Management Agency, said. "This information that is gathered will be forwarded to State Emergency Management so they may "plead our case" to the Federal Emergency Management Agency." They will then evaluate the information we offer to determine if assistance will be available. The public will be notified of confirmation of denial of assistance as soon as possible.
Note, the form is not reproduced on the Web page. It must be taken from the newspaper edition.
