SEMA: Clay County to receive assistance

Friday, July 18, 2003

Gerri Husband, director of the Clay County Emergency Management Agency announced Thursday that the State Emergency Management Agency has indicated the county will be among other Indiana counties receiving federal assitance due to flooding and storm damage.

She encourages residents to continue calling 1-800-621-FEMA with reports of weather damage sustained to their dwellings or businesses.

"It's more important than ever that people call the number," Husband said. The form the individual assistance will take is not yet known, she added.
