After working two years on the staff of Vincennes University's Trailblazer, Evan Wade has made his way to The Brazil Times, where he will be working as a general assignment reporter.

Wade, who served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Trailblazer, is happy to be in Brazil and hopes that he will learn more about the town and the job he is taking.

Wade graduated from Vincennes University with an Associate's Degree in Journalism. He attended Shoals Jr./Sr. High School and was raised in Shoals, Ind., a small town south of Brazil.

Besides his work on the Trailblazer, Wade worked for several causes on the Vincennes University campus, including protesting the imminent removal of President Bryan K. Blanchard. During his time at the paper, he covered a variety of events, including Student and Faculty Senate meetings and Student Activities events. He was also one of 10 VU students selected to travel to Florida to scout new events for the school. Though his plans aren't concrete, another two years of school aren't out of the question. If he does return, he hopes to attend either Ball State or Indiana University.

Wade is 20 years old and resides in Brazil. Though he hasn't lived here long, he says that the town is enjoyable and comfortable.
