About 50 area youth gathered at First United Methodist Church, Brazil, to remember Kellyn Andrews on Wednesday night.

The Northview High School senior was killed in a one-vehicle accident on CR 700N at SR 59 late Tuesday night.

Pastors Tony Alstott, minister of First United Methodist, Rev. Gary Scroggins and Rev. Bob Kumpf organized the prayer service for high school friends of Kellyn.

A celebration of Kellyn's life will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the NHS auditorium. Bob Medworth will be the speaker and music will be provided by Steve McCullough.

Kellyn was very active in high school. She was on the student council, photography editor for the yearbook, class president and in the homecoming court her sophomore year, played clarinet in band, was a member of the National Honor Society and excelled in soccer.
