ROCKVILLE, Ind. -- A correctional officer has been arrested after it was determined that "inappropriate behavior" had occurred between himself and an offender at the Rockville Correctional Facility.
According to an Indiana State Police press release, three separate complaints were filed against Correctional Officer Cecil L. Rardin of Clinton, Ind., related to Inappropriate Sexual Conduct charges.
The complaints were investigated by J. D. Goldner, C. Wayne Sager and Sgt. Darrell Boehmer on July 30. On Aug. 7, Rardin was arrested and incarcerated in the Parke county Jail on a $10, 000 bond.
The investigation is continuing.
