In consultation with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, it has been determined that water customers of the Knightsville Water Works should boil their drinking water. This precautionary measure is recommended because of the loss of water pressure when a six-inch water line was broken while escavation work was taking place around the line.
It is recommended that all cooking and drinking water be brought to a complete boil for five minutes before using. Jason Raubuch writes, "Please continue to boil all cooking and drinking water until notified that it is no longer necessary."
Questions should be directed to the water department at 448-1410 or 835-1226.
