Workshops are scheduled:
- Jan. 15, 7 a.m. at the Dick Johnson Fire House. RSVP by Jan. 12 .
- Jan. 22, 7 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Clay City. RSVP by Jan. 16 for the second workshop.
The Clay County Soil and Water Conservation District invites all landowners/operators and all other people interested in soil quality to no-till breakfast/workshops.
The purpose is to meet experts and learn about soil quality.
Topics covered include: soil quality, crop nutrient management, nitrogen management and financial and time benefits.
Speakers will be Barry Fisher, conservation tillage initiative specialist and Doris Scully, Natural Resource Conservation Service district conservationist.
