Another step in the changing of the guard process was taken yesterday. Ron Glasscock, of Signs of the Times, put up a new mayor name sign at the mini park at the S.R. 59 and U.S. 40 intersection. Jan Stapp and Vickie Mace, of Brazil's Women of Vision, assisted Glasscock.

"Kenny was a big help in getting Brazil's Women of Vision started," Mace said. "That's how we were able to develop this park. The land actually belongs to the state. Kenny got permission for us to use it. We really appreciated all of his help."

"We're very excited with Mayor Arthur's vision of cleaning up downtown Brazil," Stapp added. "We hope to work closely with him on this effort."
