Northview High School inducted 24 juniors and two seniors into the National Honor Society Tuesday night.
The induction was held in the Northview auditorium at 7 p.m.
Candidates were chosen based on scholarship, leadership, character and service qualities. The induction was conducted by current officers of National Honor Society, President Mitch Mershon, Vice President Cecelia Latta, Secretary Courtney Perkins, and Treasurer Ashley Riggs. Sponsors are Michele Hunter and Jill Conner. Principal Ken Wallace gave opening remarks. Each inductee lit a candle and recited a pledge as part of the induction.
The new inductees include seniors Michael Howald and Ashley Howard and juniors Haley Bradshaw, Chandra Burns, Maureen Crispin, Jana Deal, Chris Fox, Johnathon Holley, T.J. King, Samantha Knox, Brittany McCullar, Danica Neier, Cody Nicoletti, Tracy Oliveira, Emily Pugh, Trevor Rials, Amanda Ruddell, Kelsey Scroggins, Erin Summers, Kristina Taylor, Wade Thacker, Jason True, Cassie Webb, Cody Whitesell, Erin Whitmore and Amber Williams.
