A concerned mother, Brenda Walker, reported to The Brazil Times Tuesday, that her daughter, Patricia Watson Bruner, 25, and her daughters, Shauna, 3, and Samantha McIntire, 5, were missing. Walker has not seen or heard from her daughter since March 14.
Bruner's live-in boyfriend, Shaun McIntire, had not seen her since March 17. Walker reported her daughter's absence to the Linton Chief of Police, Vigo County Sheriff's Department and the Clay County Sheriff's Department.
An unidentified person reported to The Brazil Times today that Bruner had contacted authorities and told them she was OK.
Clay County Sheriff's dispatcher Jeff McCullough verified today that the Sheriff's office had been contacted by "another department" regarding Bruner's whereabouts and safety.
That department requested not to be identified so they could keep Bruner's location confidential.
Bruner has told authorities she is safe, but does not want her location disclosed, even to family.
A spokesperson at the unidentified department told the Sheriff's office that Bruner had called them to say she and her daughters were all right. The spokesperson also talked with both children.
Bruner has indicated she will contact her family later.
