Century 21 Hometown Realty is expanding the market for its listings 20 times, according to Darla Campbell and Lori Dalton, broker-owners of the firm.
The expanded coverage has been made possible through membership in the Indianapolis Board of Realtors, giving Hometown Realty a potential sales force of 6,300 realtors.
"We are already members of the Terre Haute Board of Realtors and use their multiple listing service to market our homes for sale through 300 Realtors in the system," said Campbell. "We have just increased our sales force to 6,000 Realtors, 20 times the market, by joining the Indianapolis listing service or MIBOR as it is known by Realtors."
Another significant change is that Hometown Realty listings will appear on the Indianapolis Internet listings to be seen by anyone wishing to relocate to central Indiana.
Campbell said that the new membership will allow the local Century 21 Realtors to "make appointments and open any electronic keybox in both the Terre Haute and Indianapolis systems."
Another benefit of the new connection will be to make home buyers aware of what Clay County offers, Campbell said.
"Our homes are less expensive, taxes are lower, schools are excellent and the Indianapolis area Realtors and buyers will now be able to see what Clay County has to offer."
