The good news tonight is that, so far, there have been no injuries reported to the Clay County Sheriff's Department. The bad news is that storm damage has created a mess for Clay County residents, as well as those in nearby counties.
At 5:30 p.m., a Clay County Sheriff's dispatcher said many tree limbs were reported down in the county, many people were without electricity and many county roads were closed.
A large piece of sheet metal -- such as one would find on a barn -- blew through the town of Cardona during the height of the storm.
WTWO NewsChannel 2 Meteorologist Jesse Walker reported wind gusts of 62 mph in Brazil during the storm.
A tree fell on a house near U.S. 40 at the Clay/Putnam County line, the Sheriff's dispatcher said.
