A young female was injured around 7 p.m. Thursday.
Hannah Schopmeyer was caught in a hay elevator by her legs and dragged. The accident occured at 4673 E. SR 42.
According to a Clay County Sheriff's Department spokesman, Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department and Clay County Search and Rescue arrived at the scene just moments after an emergency call was made at 7:05 p.m.
The girl was transported by medical helicopter to Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
