Classes for adult education, GED preparation, math, reading, writing and English review are available at several different sites in Clay County.
Anyone 16 years and older who is not enrolled in junior high or high school and does not have a GED or high school diploma or needs to review basic skills may attend the free classes. Anyone 16-17 years old must have officially withdrawn from school.
Classes, provided with state adult education funds, are held at the LEAAP Center, 501 E. Jackson St. in Brazil, Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m., Monday afternoon, 2:30-4:30 p.m., Tuesday 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
CAPE funded classes are held at the library in Clay City on Monday, 5-7 p.m.
