The Clay County Candidates Forum will be held tonight at the Clay County Fairgrounds.
Candidates will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves and answer questions submitted by the public.
"It's an excellent opportunity for voters to interact with their candidates to hear their views," stated Vern Tincher, candidate for State Representative District 46.
The evening's events will start at 6 p.m.
The forum is sponsored by Clay County Farm Bureau, The Brazil Times, The Clay City News and St. Vincent Clay Hospital. It has been organized by Daryl Andrews.
The Brazil Times Editor Frank Phillips will serve as moderator for the forum.
Each candidate will have one minute at the beginning to introduce himself, all questions must be submitted in writing to the moderator to be screened, each candidate will have 90 seconds to respond. The order of the candidates' response will be rotated so the same candidate will not have to repeatedly be the first to answer a question.
The following schedule has been established:

6:40- 7:00 -- Jeff Stewart vs. Charlie Brown for Commissioner District 2
