The Thanksgiving holiday brings changes to many schedules. It is always best to call before assuming your favorite business or service will be in operation on holidays and Thanksgiving Day is no exception.
For example, The Brazil Times will not publish tomorrow so our associates can spend the day with their loved ones. The newspaper office will close at 5 p.m. today and reopen Friday morning at 8 a.m.
Another example -- the K & H Regional Sewer District staff is moving its regular meeting due to the holiday.
The regular monthly meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Community House in Knightsville instead of at the regular time and date.
The Clay County Genealogical Library in Center Point will be closed Thanksgiving Day and not reopen until after the holidays, on Jan. 3, according to Alice Ann Courtney, president.
Most, if not all, trash pickup normally scheduled for Thursday will be postponed due to the holiday.
If your club normally meets on Thursday, the meeting may be postponed due to the holiday. It may be wise to call ahead.
