Indiana State Police continue to conduct interviews in the case of a murdered girl, Toni Dickison, 18, of Terre Haute, formerly of Brazil.
Those interviews resulted in a search warrant being obtained for a residence on South 7th St. in Terre Haute late Monday night, Sgt. Joe Watts of the Indiana State Police, Terre Haute said.
"These people are not suspects, but I would call them people of interest in the case," Watts told The Brazil Times this morning.
That search warrant led to the discovery of a methamphetamine lab at the residence and charges will be filed, Watts said. As of this morning, the names of the residents were not being disclosed.
"We are very optimistic that this murder will be solved, but it will take time," Watts said.
Toni Dickison's body was discovered floating in a pond on CR600N on Nov. 30.
Her family and friends mourned her during a funeral service Monday afternoon in Brazil.
