Changes may be coming to the Brazil Cinergy office, though no final decision has been made.
Acting on a news tip from a reader, The Brazil Times learned Tuesday that Cinergy/PSI has been consolidating some smaller offices around the state, where "customer traffic volume is lower," said Angeline Protogere, Cinergy spokesperson. "However, we are offering some new payment options to customers in those communities."
Protogere said Cinergy is not closing their offices, but is closing some payment counters in smaller towns. However, the company maintains offices for linemen in those locations and the company arranges for a local agency, usually a retailer, to accept payment from customers who wish to pay in person.
