The upcoming public meeting of the Clay Community School Board of Trustees promises to be a busy evening.
Some of the agenda highlights are:
-A recommendation to the board by the administration to continue the necessary actions to perform the reduction in force (RIF) of staff members.
-A review and discussion of the classified employee health insurance benefits, the social security bridge and capping of the board's contribution toward administrative and classified health insurance premiums.
-A discussion about the projected basic grant increases in new money under the current proposed House Bill 1001 and an update on the other 2005 legislative actions.
Information will also be provided regarding the 21st Century Grant, CORE 40 graduation issues and changes in the 2005/06 student handbooks.
The public is invited to attend the meeting which is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Clay City High School auditeria immediately following the executive session Thursday.
