Teen charged after windows were shot out

Franklin James Bailey, 18, was charged with criminal mischief, a Class B misdemeanor, in Clay Superior Court Wednesday. Bailey allegedly shot out vehicle windows of multiple victims in the north end of Brazil on Nov. 24 with a BB gun.

The victims included Delbert Chessir, Doris Miller, Dustin Perkins, Dwain Archer, Terre Haute Police Department, Thad Decker, Vicki L. Miller-Pinnick and Yankee Rose.

A summons will be issued and sent to the accused. After the summons is delivered, an initial hearing will be set. Other juveniles were with Bailey during the incident. The case is still being investigated. A Class B Misdemeanor is punishable by up to 180 days in jail and up to a $1,000 fine.
