At least two persons sustained injuries in a motorcycle-auto accident in front of the Speedway gas station on U.S. 40, Brazil, late Saturday afternoon.
While the Brazil City Police Dept. did not return phone calls from the Brazil Times on Saturday following the accident or Sunday, scanner traffic called city police and Trans-Care ambulance to the scene at approximately 4:10 p.m.
Scanner traffic also indicated a 56-year-old female passenger on the motorcycle incurred a hematoma above the right eye as well as injuries to her right lower extremity. Meanwhile, the 51-year-old male driver of the motorcycle incurred two gashes to a toe on his right foot.
No additional details were available at presstime on Monday.
