PSI Energy, the Indiana operating company of Cinergy Corp., is offering a new payment option for customers who normally pay their bills at the Brazil customer service office.
The company has made arrangements with Shaw Electronics, 20 E. National Ave., Brazil, to accept payments 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Cinergy/PSI customers can present their bills or account numbers to a customer service representative along with cash, checks or money orders for their payments and receive receipts.
The Brazil customer payment counter will close at the end of the business day on Friday. The closing will not affect Cinergy/PSI's repair and installation services and assigned personnel. They will continue to operate out of the local office.
"Of the customers who visit our office, about 90 percent of them come in only to pay their energy bill," said Rick Burger, Cinergy/PSI's Brazil customer relations manager. "For customers who prefer to pay their bills in person, Shaw Electronics is a convenient location where they can continue to do so. Our aim is to offer customers bill payment options that fit their needs and preferences."
