Parke County Highway Department personnel completed clearing away the remains of the 137-year old Bridgeton Covered Bridge which was destroyed by arson on April 28 by last Wednesay. The debris was pulled from the waters of Raccoon Creek and shipped to a secure location to determine what items might be salvageable for use in the rebuilding plans scheduled for the summer of 2006.
