Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! The second annual Demolition Derby will crash into the Clay County Fairgrounds.
Derby Organizer Jim Stevenson said he's "expecting a lot of cars," this year.
Stevenson said last year's derby was a success with over 1,000 people attending and more than 40 cars participating.
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with the derby to follow an hour and half later. Admission is $6 and a pit pass is an additional $15. To get into the pits, spectators must be at least 16 years old.
Food will also be available for sale during the event.
Another derby is planned for July 30, he said.
