While executing a search warrant Tuesday morning, officers of the Clay County Sheriff's Department arrested three individuals on various drug charges in the Center Point area.
Acting upon information received by the department, a search warrant for the residence at 302 E South St., Center Point, was acquired by the CCSD.
Assisted by Indiana State Police Marijuana Eradication Officers and the Center Point Marshal Wayne Payne, CCSD deputies entered the home of Steven P. Ryan Sr. around 7 a.m. to find marijuana plants, methamphetamine and various drug paraphernalia materials.
Ryan Sr. and his two sons, Jeff R. Ryan, 18, and Steven P. Ryan, 21, were arrested and taken to the Clay County Jail, where they will await arraignment, charged with one count each of Possession of Marijuana/ Hashish.
If convicted of the Class D felonies, the three men could receive a minimum of six months or a maximum of three years in prison and or a fine of $10,000.
