At approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning, local law enforcement officers served a search warrant at a residence which had become a nuisance to the surrounding neighborhood.
Complaints from area residents reporting high amounts of traffic in and out of the Della Mundy-Miller residence, located at 930 N. Washington St., led to an investigation by Clay County Sheriff's Department Detective Sgt. Rob Gambill and Brazil City Police Detective Martin Beasley. The officers were able to uncover information leading them to suspect that drugs were being used and/or sold from the home.
At the time the search warrant was executed, numerous hypodermic needles, suspected methamphetamine, glass pipes, schedule three and four controlled substances, suspected marijuana, scales, and other suspected drug paraphernalia were found at the location.
The Carbon Police Department assisted with the search.
Four people, Della Mundy-Miller, 50, Barry Zentko, 27, Cynthia Workman, 42, and Michelle Nicole Underwood, 26, were arrested and taken to the Clay County Jail on various drug related charges.
