The Governor's Award for Tomorrow's Leaders was created in 2003 by the Indiana Humanities Council to recognize outstanding young Indiana leaders between the ages of 19 and 29 for their achievements in entrepreneurial, community, educational and/or cultural arenas.
Wolfe was nominated for the award based on his leadership, community service and entrepreneurial achievement.
He serves as the 4Community Coordinator for the United Way of Putnam County.
As an undergraduate of DePauw University, Wolfe served as the Executive Director of the National 4-H Youth Directions Council, the second person ever to have the role, representing almost a million 4-H youth at the national level and building a sound organization that trains youth in governance roles. Also as an undergrad, Wolfe completed his services as an Americorps member where he built Youth As Resources, a youth philanthropy and service organization in his hometown of Brazil.
