Popcorn Festival, other events dominate weekend

Top Left: Longaberger Basketmaker by Request, Sharon Locke, puts a row into the first basket of the Popcorn Festival on Saturday morning. A basket was given away at the end of each hour during the festival. The Longaberger Basket Company representative was brought to the festival by French Funeral Home.

Top Right: Weaver Peggy Taylor weaves a long dish towel on Saturday at the Popcorn Festival in Forest Park. The towel will later be divided into numerous towels. The weaver was brought to the festival by Page's Food Store.

The old-fashioned soap maker was brought to the festival by Riddell National Bank and Emmert GMAC.
